SUMMARY:Responsible for overseeing day to day patient care,supervising, directing and developing nurse staff to ensure quality patientcare within skilled nursing facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Utilizing expertise in the leadership role as a manager of anassigned unit
- Collaborating with the Director of Nursing in maintainingadequate Nursing coverage to provide safe Nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7days a week
- Developing, implementing and evaluating protocols/standards ofassigned unit while following the proper approval channels
- Assessing the work performance of Nursing personnel
- Assuming Nursing administrative responsibilities of the Centerfor weekend and holiday coverage as requested
REQUIREMENTS:- New York RN license
- Up-to-date physical assessment skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles
- 1+ year experience in leadership (i.e., Head Nurse, Supervisor,Unit Manger etc.)
- CPR certification
