RN Unit Manager Responsibilities- Evaluate theeffectiveness of patient care and identities any issues that affect desiredresident outcomes
- Assess, review, andmaintain that daily resident care needs are met, and appropriate resident careis given
- Address resident andstaff concerns to promote quality care
- Supervise staff nursesand CNAs to ensure their completion and quality of duties
- Make rounds ofresident rooms to observe and evaluate residents' physical/emotional state
- Review order and careplans
- Provide direct nursingcare as necessary
- Perform all assignedtasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Remain prepared to doany services or assignments within the scope of practice of an RN
RN Unit Manager Requirements- Valid, current RN license
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices andprocedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines thatpertain to long-term care
- At least one-year experience in a supervisorycapacity in a long-term care facility
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination
