Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Dialysis Nurse, you will provide specialized, compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing various dialysis treatments, ensuring their safety and optimal clinical outcomes.Every day you will assess patient conditions, proficiently initiate and monitor dialysis treatments, educate patients on their disease and treatment plan, meticulously manage vascular access, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.To be successful in this role you will combine a strong clinical background in dialysis with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional patient education skills, and the ability to manage complex care plans while advocating for our patient's well-being.
- Adheres to established Hospital/departmental policies and procedures, objectives, Quality Assessment and Improvement Program, legal, safety, environmental, infection control standards, Nurse Practices Act and Patient's Bill of Rights.
- Applies clinical knowledge and expertise for coordinating patient care by regularly planning and evaluating the care of patients.
- Establishes and maintains professional and collaborative relationships with other staff members, physicians, patients, patient family members, and the public as appropriate, while assuring confidentiality of all patient information.
- Demonstrates effective nursing judgement and a working knowledge of the nursing process.
- Provides guidance to interdisciplinary team members by supervising nursing interventions and assisting with related tasks.
- Provides leadership by establishing priorities and coordinating nursing care.

Job Requirements
Required
- Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area
- Current and Active Registered Nurse: CA
- AHA Basic Life Support /Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in a chronic hemodialysis clinic or acute dialysis service
- Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire and
- Fire Safety, within 90 Days and
Preferred
- Experience with EHR (Cerner, MediTech, etc)
- Certified Dialysis Nurse, upon hire or
- Certified Nephrology Nurse, upon hire
