Emergency Department in a

Pay Range: $42.96 - $79.55 per hour, based on experience
This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple openings may be available.
About the RoleAs an Emergency Department RN, you'll provide expert nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and emergent healthcare needs. Working alongside physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll assess, prioritize, and manage patient care in a dynamic environment where your skills and critical thinking make a meaningful impact every day.
What You'll Do- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Respond quickly and effectively to complex and rapidly changing patient conditions.
- Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions.
- Coordinate and delegate care appropriately within the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with providers, patients, families, and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain and expand clinical expertise through ongoing learning and education.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
- Minimum one year of recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience within the last three years.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage:
- Cardiac patients
- Complex medical/surgical patients
- Pediatric patients
- Multiple-trauma patients
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Emergency Department CertificationsThe following certifications are required after hire:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 6 months
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months
