Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 5:00:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $33.37 - $45.05 / hour

Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their College Point practice to fill the role of RN Clinical Team Lead. If you enjoy a fast paced, high volume outpatient clinic this could be a great opportunity!

What will the RN Clinical Team Lead Do?

  • Provide monthly Clinical Team Education, along with additional training and retraining as needed.
  • Manage in-basket clinical responsibilities, including prescription requests, result notes, and urgent symptom calls.
  • Conduct protocol-based patient visits, including Flu/COVID care, urinary tract infection (UTI) visits, and hypertension (HTN) follow-up.
  • Provide nurse visits for blood pressure checks, continuous glucose monitor (CGM) starts, and injection education.
  • Perform monthly CGM monitoring and reporting, including patient follow-up as needed.
  • Monitor chronic condition reports and coordinate appropriate patient follow-up.
  • Participate in Shared Governance initiatives and activities to support quality improvement and collaborative decision-making.

Responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating nursing care for patients within a complex department or highly procedural area; based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care, through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and lean performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of Three (3) years of relevant RN experience in area of specialty required.

Certification: Certification in appropriate specialty preferred. PALS/ACLS as appropriate for specialty within 90 days of employment. BLS required.

License: State of Florida RN license.

Other: Project management and quality improvement experience preferred. Above average communication skills. Adaptable and participative with technology changes
