Serves to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition at the Unit level for Mercy coworkers. Oversees, precepts and/mentors newer educators and presents, evaluates and builds evidence-based education for ministry wide standardized education strategies at the unit level. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience OR • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with: • 10 years of hospital nursing experience, or • 5 years of hospital nursing experience and active enrollment in an RN-to-BSN program Required • Current RN license • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare technology Preferred Qualifications • Specialty nursing certification or progress toward certification • Minimum 2 years of teaching, precepting, or clinical education experience • Additional certifications such as: • ACLS • PALS • NRP • STABLE • TNCC • ENPC Apply today and help advance nursing excellence at Mercy Hospital Washington. 💙
