Position Overview: The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical nursing operations of the agency, ensuring adherence to nursing standards, and promoting excellence in patient care. They provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff members, collaborating with the executive director and other stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clinical Nursing Supervision:
    • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to LPNs and staff.
    • Conduct regular supervision sessions, performance evaluations, and competency assessments as needed.
    • Support staff members in delivering high-quality care, addressing patient needs, and implementing interventions.
  2. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care.
    • Conduct audits, reviews, and quality improvement activities to monitor services and outcomes.
    • Implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  3. Staff Development and Training:
    • Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for all staff.
    • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to enhance clinical skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration within the team.
  4. Program Development:
    • Collaborate with the executive director and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures.

  5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
