**This position is fully on-site in either Warrenton, VA or Fort Washington, MD - ACTIVE TS/SCI is required

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Red Had Linux System Administrator who would be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Cameo systems in an AWS environment, maintaining the integrity and accessibility of all server resources, hardware, systems, and key processes.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Self-starting and able to provide guidance/mentorship to junior administrators
  • The Cameo Sys-Admin will create and document the framework of technical standards and procedures, and support the engineering team in solutioning, engineering and system administration tasks.
  • The Sys-Admin monitors system health and performance and ensures high availability of the system and helps maintain overall product quality by working closely with PM and government technical lead to understand and use essential tools for handling files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.
  • There are no travel requirements for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven experience as a Red Hat Systems Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) command line
  • Familiarity with XRDP
  • Knowledge of image creation and deployment of a virtual desktop
  • Understanding of managing multiple users' sessions or a basic understanding of sessman in a virtual desktop environment.
  • Knowledge of Cameo NoMagic preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA Preferred, but Not Required

TECHNICIAL SKILL & CERTIFICATIONS:
  • RHCSA preferred, not required
  • IAT Level II Security Certification (e.g., Security + CE, CISSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCN) preferred, not required
  • AWS Certification or Experience preferred, not required

EDUCATION: Bachelors with 3+ years of experience managing virtual/physical servers and LAN/SAN networked environments preferred

LOCATION: Full Time/ On-Site at Fort Washington in Washington, DC or in Warrenton, VA required

CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT: Top Secret Clearance with SCI required

DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT: IAT - Level II preferred

SALARY RANGE: $140,000 to $150,000

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.

Estimated Pay Range

$140,000-$150,000 USD
