FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Mon -Thurs - 9 hours/Friday - 4 hours (remote)
FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Lead and/or participate in focused, multi-disciplinary teams charged with evaluating acquisition, divestiture, and drilling prospect opportunities in targeted regions or plays.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide reservoir engineering expertise in evaluating potential acquisition or divestiture opportunities in various basins.
- Contribute engineering skills to multidiscipline evaluation as designated.
- Prepare economic models for various opportunities.
- Prepare summary packages and present results and recommendations to senior management, in timely manner within deadlines.
- Participate in post-bid due diligence and transition processes.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Proficient in reserves evaluation and economic analysis of petroleum ventures
- Basic knowledge of geology, drilling, completions and production engineering, and production operations.
- Working knowledge of Aries economic software, public production databases, and other petroleum engineering software.
- Oral presentation skills, ability to interact in a positive manner with senior management.
- Team oriented, self-starter, with strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple and changing priorities, short deadlines and ability to respond in high-stress situations.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience in reservoir engineering.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of reservoir characteristics and recovery mechanisms.
- Strategic thinking and economic analysis skills.
- Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team with a multi-faceted workload.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently.
- Must possess the ability to execute projects based on ideas or concepts, within parameters assigned
- Experience with history-matching methods and modeling a range of recovery processes, a plus
- Applicable computer skills must include proficiency in software including: ARIES and other reservoir engineering tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (primarily Word and Excel).

PHYSICAL REQIREMENTS: - Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
