Research Investigator - Research Scientist

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field required.
• Minimum two years of research experience in cellular and molecular biology, genetics, and metabolic regulation.
• Two years of experience in cell biology of fibrosis, including myofibroblast activation and extracellular matrix remodeling.
• Experience with three-dimensional organoid models for studying disease mechanisms.
• Ability to design translational studies using human biospecimens and animal models.
• Proficient in computational analysis for identifying molecular pathways in chronic fibrotic disease.
• Experience mentoring post-docs and supervising undergraduates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research in Rheumatology focusing on fibrosis and related mechanisms.
• Develop and utilize organoid models to investigate disease processes.
• Design and execute translational studies involving human and animal models.
• Analyze multidimensional data to uncover therapeutic targets.
• Mentor students and lab personnel in research methodologies and techniques.
• Publish findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance research outcomes.
