Remote Neuroradiologist to provide neuroradiology and general diagnostic radiology coverage for community hospitals and outpatient imaging sites.
Fully remote position with a UConn Health-provided PACS workstation. Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered.
Position- UConn community faculty appointment
- Reports to the Chair, Department of Radiology
- Weekday shifts
- Weekend daytime neuroradiology/general radiology call
Responsibilities- Interpret brain, head and neck, and spine CT/MRI, including CTA/MRA and perfusion imaging.
- Provide acute stroke, hemorrhage, and trauma imaging interpretation.
- Interpret general diagnostic imaging, including radiography, CT, and ultrasound.
- Provide timely reports, clinician consultation, and imaging protocoling.
- Participate in weekend call, peer review, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Qualifications- MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship.
- ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Expertise in neuroradiology and general diagnostic imaging.
- Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
- Eligibility for UConn community faculty appointment and medical staff privileges.
- Ability to maintain a secure remote reading environment with high-speed internet.
Preferred: ABR Neuroradiology certification, acute stroke imaging experience, teleradiology/multi-site experience, and community hospital experience.
