Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join its growing community-based radiology program. This is a
full-time hybrid opportunity, with part-time candidates also considered.
The position combines
on-site breast imaging and procedures at community imaging locations with
remote general diagnostic radiology for community hospital partners. The radiologist will also participate in
weekend daytime general radiology call.

- Hybrid practice model
- Screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
- Image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy and localization
- Remote interpretation of general radiology studies, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound
- Weekend daytime general radiology call
- Collaboration with UConn breast imaging, breast surgery, oncology, and community clinical teams
- Opportunities for teaching and participation in multidisciplinary breast care
Qualifications- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Breast Imaging fellowship
- ABR board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Current MQSA interpreting physician qualification
- Proficiency in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast procedures
- Connecticut medical license or eligibility
- Eligibility for UConn community faculty and medical staff appointments
Experience with MRI-guided breast biopsy, contrast-enhanced mammography, ACR accreditation, or community-based/multi-site radiology practice is preferred.
