About the Role
The Remodeling Sales Advisor plays a vital role in generating and converting leads into successful design-build projects. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is responsible for qualifying potential clients, setting proper expectations, presenting design agreements, and working closely with the design team to ensure a seamless transition into production. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder, results-driven, and understands the nuances of high-end residential remodeling.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and guide them through the initial sales process.
- Conduct discovery calls and in-home consultations to assess client needs and project feasibility.
- Present and close design agreements aligned with HDR's design-build process.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure smooth project handoffs and clear communication of scope and budget.
- Maintain accurate lead and pipeline tracking in CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Buildertrend).
- Help qualify leads to ensure alignment with HDR's service offerings, budget range, and timeline.
- Follow up with prospects regularly to nurture relationships and move opportunities forward.
- Support efforts to hit sales and design agreement goals, contributing to the $8M annual revenue target.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in residential remodeling, construction sales, or design-related services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read construction plans and understand project scopes.
- Comfortable using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in design-build or high-end residential remodeling.
- Familiarity with the East Bay market.
- Background in interior design, architecture, or construction, a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
