Job Summary:
The Release Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing multiple concurrent releases across various application and technology teams. The role involves owning and maintaining release calendars, managing cross-team dependencies, and ensuring timely release delivery. The candidate will work closely with Agile and DevOps teams to coordinate release activities, track commitments, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment across teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo/CI-CD platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple concurrent releases across application and technology teams.
• Own and maintain release calendars, ensuring proper scheduling and coordination of release activities.
• Manage cross-team dependencies by identifying dependency owners, tracking commitments, and ensuring accountability.
• Coordinate with development, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth release execution.
• Monitor release progress, identify potential risks or delays, and drive timely resolution.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to ensure release readiness and successful delivery.
• Support Agile and DevOps practices throughout the release management lifecycle.
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo/CI-CD tools to manage and track release activities.
Required Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience in Release Management.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo/CI-CD tooling.
• Experience owning and managing release calendars across multiple application and technology teams.
• Proven experience in cross-team dependency management, including identifying dependency owners, tracking commitments, and ensuring accountability.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent releases.
