As a Relationship Specialist within the Strategic Relationship Team, you will play a critical role by partnering with the strategic account team to develop and implement business plans for key intermediaries on both wealth and retirement plan products and services. You will represent Capital Group by meeting with home office contacts virtually and in person through travel to conferences, workshops, and offices. You will identify opportunities to provide business solutions through interactions with the North American Client Groups (NACG) strategic clients and develop plans to address client needs. You will identify opportunities to promote internal initiatives from NACG, marketing, and support groups. You will serve as a point of contact regarding service, support, and education both internally at Capital Group and externally with your firms, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness in all communications. Additionally, help increase Capital Group's exposure with firms by securing workshops, sales desk trainings, webinars, and regional meetings. Depending on business need and client coverage, travel could range up to 25%.

You have 5-10 years of relevant experience in financial services with a focus on relationship management, sales support, or business development.
You’ve successfully built relationships with firms by developing and executing business plans.
You have exceptional communication skills and can effectively adapt your style, messaging, and level of detail to diverse audiences, including executives, home office leaders, research teams, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
You are a proactive, self-directed individual who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and drives execution with minimal direction while maintaining alignment with strategic priorities.
You are skilled in developing sales ideas and marketing concepts from data provided by our partnered firms and communicating insights in a clear, persuasive manner.
You’ve demonstrated working knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
You have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, that includes keeping track of multiple documents, websites, and contacts both internally and externally, while effectively managing competing priorities.
You have a bachelor's degree.
You must hold or obtain within the first 90 days of employment the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/65 or 66 licenses.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $125,909-$201,454
New York Base Salary Range: $133,471-$213,554
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
