Full Job Description
The Opportunity
Due to rapid practice growth, an established multi-family office firm is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor / Client Relationship Associate to support a senior wealth practice. Designed as an intentional apprenticeship into high-net-worth wealth advising, this role allows you to work directly alongside a seasoned senior advisor with decades of industry experience to manage complex family relationships and progressively transition into a lead advisor role over time.
Location
San Francisco, CA. This role features a collaborative in-person office environment with local client meetings and remote flexibility when appropriate.
What You Will Do
  • Serve as a primary daily point of contact for private wealth clients, delivering responsive, high-touch support.
  • Coordinate prep work and drive execution for client strategy meetings.
  • Collaborate with external client partners-including CPAs, trust officers, attorneys, and bankers-on comprehensive tax, estate, and business decisions.
  • Facilitate administrative onboarding, partnership documentation, and complex account maintenance across trusts and holding companies.
  • Assist with credit, cash flow execution, and treasury management across client balance sheets.
  • Help prepare customized client deliverables, consolidated net-worth statements, and performance summaries.
  • Oversee action-item tracking and operational compliance across the practice.
Who You Are
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in private wealth management, RIA support, or financial planning.
  • Strong baseline knowledge of modern portfolio structures, market dynamics, and complex account setups.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and financial reporting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Series 7 and/or Series 66 preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
  • Highly detailed, analytical, and comfortable interacting with high-net-worth individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high discretion handling sensitive financial information.
