Your Opportunity

The Family Wealth Alliance connects the multifamily wealth community. We are the only membership organization focused on multifamily wealth firms: multifamily offices, external CIOs, high-end wealth management firms, trust companies, and the family office practices of private banks and law and accounting firms. Since 2003, we have curated a collaborative, peer-led network united by shared values and fueled by a desire to serve clients and the industry at the highest level.

Our membership represents the epicenter of industry thought leadership. We help our members build and foster key relationships through our vast resources, conferences, events, and peer networking opportunities, as well as industry-first research initiatives. Our Alliance Research arm has released more than 30 industry reports and benchmarking studies since our founding, establishing us as the authority on North American multifamily offices.

  What You’ll Do:

The Manager of Member Experience plays a critical role in ensuring member firms receive consistent exceptional experience with The Family Wealth Alliance. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in relationship management and client service.

Key responsibilities include advancing engagement through proactive outreach, thoughtful onboarding, customized support, executive-level networking, and partnership with internal teams to deliver a cohesive, high-value experience. This position provides the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative, entrepreneurial team while developing senior-level connections across a growing organization. As part of a boutique organization and subsidiary of a large public corporation, the individual must demonstrate adaptability, sound judgment, and flexibility in supporting broad priorities and special projects. Strong communication and client service skills are essential, and experience in the family wealth, family office, or ultra-high-net-worth industry is strongly preferred. This position reports directly to the Director of Member Experience.

Primary Duties or Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Professional Relationships: Foster and maintain professional internal and external relationships that reflect FWA’s mission, vision, and values, ensuring a high level of client service at every interaction. Be the primary point of contact to encourage FWA member engagement.
  • Facilitate Networking: Initiate introductions and connections between members to foster a stronger community. Moderate executive leader roundtables and breakout networking groups to enhance member engagement and collaboration.
  • Onboarding and Support: Provide comprehensive onboarding for new members and ongoing support and resources to help members maximize their membership benefits.
  • Customized Solutions: Identify and address individual member needs through personalized service and tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and events, to ensure a cohesive member experience.
  • CRM Management: Utilize our CRM system and other database software to capture and track member and prospect information accurately.
  • Benefit Expert: Develop expertise on all Family Wealth Alliance member benefits, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required.
  What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Seven or more years of direct relationship management experience with a strong client service mentality
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) on Windows OS.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, discretion, and respect for the confidential nature of the firm’s business and client relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the family wealth, family office, or ultra-high-net-worth industry, given the specialized member base and client profile
  • Strong executive-level relationship management skills, especially with C-suite leaders and senior decision-makers
  • Experience using CRM systems and database tools to accurately track member, client, or prospect information
  • Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, small-team environment, with the flexibility to support broad team needs and special projects

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
