We are a 98-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with rehabilitation services located in Long Beach. We are currently looking for an RN who is excited to be a part of a culture that celebrates a supportive environment! Shifts Available: All Full-Time shifts are on a 4 on 2 off rotation schedule. • Per-Diem What We Offer (Full-Time Employees): • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. • Life and AD&D insurance. • 401(k) retirement savings option. • Vacation and Sick Leave Pay Range: • $45-55/hour Depending on Experience About the Position: As the RN, your primary responsibility is to oversee LVN's and CNA's in providing direct patient care based on each patient's care plan to the highest quality. • Manages area of responsibility with the goal of achieving and maintaining the highest quality of care possible. • Reviews staffing patterns and the census of nursing units and reassigns personnel, when necessary, to ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls. • Monitors the skills of new staff members and guides and observes staff that may need additional assistance with procedures. • Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff members, LVNs, and CNAs. • Initiates investigations of accidents and unusual occurrences and makes the necessary written report to the DON. • Keeps the DON informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters. • Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes. • Documents interventions, observations, and resident responses to treatment. Qualifications: • Active CA RN License in good standing • Active CPR/BLS • Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
