Full Time/Days This is an RNII vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
The Operating Room at Maine Medical Center - Biddeford is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. - A minimum of 1-year Operating Room experience
- Ability to scrub is a plus
- CNOR and/or ACLS desirable
- Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure.
- Communicate all pertinent information with the surgical team continuously regarding patient condition in order to provide safe, reliable care.
- Interacting with and overseeing Surgical Technologist and other personnel in the Operating Room
- Use current OR technology and equipment
Summary: The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.
- Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.
The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
