The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey
Preferred:- Master's in nursing preferred
- Previous leadership experience (Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, etc.)
- 5 years of oncology experience is strongly preferred.
- EPIC experience
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Previous leadership experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration certification
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Schedule:- Monday- Friday, 5 days a week
- No weekends
Essential Functions:- The RN Manager of Outpatient Oncology at Newark Beth Israel ensures that quality care is delivered in all clinical areas of the Cancer Center, Infusion, Radiation Oncology, Hemophilia and Finance.
- They will collaborate with the Medical Director, Director, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Hemophilia Program Manager, and Finance Manager to develop and implement patient care standards and policies that produce and sustain quality care.
- With the assistance of the Director and Assistant Vice President, Oncology develops, implements and maintains unit budget.
- Participates in ongoing nursing quality assurance.
- Directly supervises clinical team members within the Fred B. Cohen, M.D. Comprehensive Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
- Serves as mentor to direct reports and provides assistance as needed.
- Ensure that all assigned departments are in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
