Overview Nurse Manager - Wound Care, General Surgery, and Plastic Surgery Clinics
40 hours per week
Administers an assigned nursing program or organizational unit with responsibility for planning, selecting, and/or devising the methods and policies/procedures to be used and for directing nursing supervisors and/or other personnel in the accomplishment of designated goals. Negotiates interdepartmental resources, communicates and plans with managers of staff in other departments to ensure effective level of service to the unit/program.

Develops the budget for personnel and non-personnel expenses. Makes unit based decisions to promote stewardship of resources. Encourages and supports process improvements which promote fiscal responsibility.
Assumes responsibility for patient flow processes. Strategizes to improve efficiency and eliminate barriers that impact patient and family centered care.
