Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, PACU

Job Type: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE or 80 hours/pp | Exempt/Salaried

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Days M-F

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

Our PACU team supports twelve (12) ORs, providing safe, vigilant post02operative care and ensuring smooth, secure patient transitions after anesthesia.

How you019ll contribute

ANurse Managerwho excels in this role:

  • Assists with developing specific department goals standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchase, monitors usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What we019re looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate019s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor019s preferred).

Additional requirements include

  • Basic Life SupportHealth Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 1 year)
