ICU Registered Nurse - Day/Night Variable ScheduleShift Details
- All contracts must run into February - no exceptions
- Shifts: 7a-7p / 7p-7a
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, variable
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- 2 on-call (OC) shifts per 4-week period
- Full-time Days/Nights/Weekends including Holidays
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA/RQI only)
- ACLS (AHA/RQI only)
- PALS (AHA/RQI only)
- NIHSS
- Basic Coronary Care required within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification required within 90 days of hire
Preferred Certifications
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association - recommended within 2 years of hire
- TNCC - recommended within 2 years of hire
Licensure
- Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse

- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

- Experience with electronic medical records

- Must provide care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups
