What You'll Do:Provide Direct Nursing Care:- Conduct daily mental status assessments for 6-12 residents.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Complete narcotic counts at the beginning and end of shift.
- Monitor for early signs of psychiatric relapse, medication side effects, or medical concerns.
- Lead response efforts during psychiatric or medical emergencies.
Support Recovery & Clinical Collaboration:- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Personal Recovery Plans.
- Coordinate care with Psychiatrists, Primary Care Physicians, and specialists.
- Engage regularly with residents to monitor changes and support treatment goals.
Medication & Health Management:- Maintain oversight of medication administration and ensure prescriptions are current.
- Complete assessments and physicals within regulatory timeframes.
- Assist residents with scheduling medical appointments and following up on recommendations.
Educate & Empower:- Provide education on medication management and overall health and wellness.
- Participate in and/or facilitate educational groups.
- Contribute to a positive, recovery-oriented program environment.
What We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:- Current Pennsylvania RN (or LPN) license.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Act 33/34 clearances.
- FBI clearance (as required).
- Completion of required physical, TB test, and Hepatitis B titer.
- All trainings required by licensure.
Preferred:- Experience in Behavioral Health and/or Criminal Justice settings.
