Position SummaryThe Regional Supply Chain Manager leads end-to-end supply chain operations across WIS's North America (NAM) region, based in Houston, TX, United States. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Director, this role is responsible for procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and supplier management throughout the region. The Regional Supply Chain Manager translates the global supply chain strategy into regional execution, partnering with operations, sales, finance, and quality to ensure reliable product availability, optimized cost and working capital, regulatory compliance, and strong service to regional operations and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations across the NAM region, spanning procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Execute regional sourcing and procurement in alignment with global category strategies, and manage local and regional supplier relationships.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, freight, customs clearance, and import/export compliance across NAM markets and free zone operations.
- Drive cost-savings and working-capital initiatives, including inventory optimization, freight efficiency, and improved supplier terms, in support of regional and global targets.
- Ensure on-time product availability to support field operations, service delivery, and customer commitments across the region.
- Partner with operations, sales, finance, and quality to forecast demand and align regional supply plans.
- Manage supplier performance, risk, and continuity across the regional supply base through scorecards and business reviews.
- Implement supply chain governance, procurement policy, and delegation-of-authority controls across the region.
- Develop and report regional supply chain KPIs, including inventory turns, on-time-in-full delivery, landed cost, and realized savings.
- Lead, develop, and mentor regional supply chain staff, building team capability and bench strength.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CSCP, CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum of eight years of progressive supply chain experience with regional or multi-country scope, preferably in oilfield services, industrial, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of Middle East and GCC trade, customs, and free zone operations (such as Jebel Ali), Incoterms, and import/export compliance.
- Experience managing logistics, freight, and third-party logistics providers across multiple markets.
- ERP proficiency (Oracle E-Business Suite preferred) and strong spend-analytics and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings and inventory or working-capital improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills in a multicultural environment.
- Eligibility to live and work in the United States, and willingness to travel within the region as required.
