Full Job Description

ROCKWOOL is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, Ontario.  The territory for this position is the Ontario region.  The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto Area with 35% overnight travel required. This position reports to the Director of Sales and has two direct reports.

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team and also play a key role in translating data into regional growth strategies, driving market expansion, and enhancing the customer experience through actionable insights.  This role is ideal for a sales leader who combines commercial acumen, leadership capability, and data literacy—someone who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and strategy. 

What You Will Be Doing

Strategic Leadership & Market Growth

  • Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national sales strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities using data-driven insights.
  • Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize regional performance.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to deliver sales targets and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Develop team capability in data interpretation, forecasting, and consultative selling.

Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, to analyze performance, track KPIs, and drive decision-making.
  • Translate sales data into actionable insights to optimize territory coverage, pricing, and channel mix.
  • Use predictive analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and optimize sales productivity.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Represent the company in regional market activities, trade shows, and strategic customer reviews.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure customer excellence.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify and champion opportunities to digitize sales processes and enhance data utilization.
  • Support implementation of new tools and dashboards that improve transparency and efficiency.
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives that transform the sales organization into a strategic, insight-led function.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years expertise in the building materials sector and construction processes - required for consideration
  • Prior experience in sales leadership, preferably in a multi-region or B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans using data and analytics.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through change and digital transformation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM and BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
