Description Trifecta Services Company, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a professional and experienced Traveling Site Safety Manager to join our growing team and support our Industrial Division. As one of the largest demolition companies in North America, Trifecta specializes in complex demolition and environmental remediation projects that require a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

When not performing on-site safety duties, this position will support the Industrial Division with safety-related administrative responsibilities, including developing and updating site-specific Health and Safety Plans, coordinating training, maintaining safety documentation, and supporting ongoing safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive safety professional with strong field experience, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with employees, project teams, clients, and general contractors.
The Traveling Site Safety Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Provide full-time, on-site safety oversight for assigned demolition, environmental remediation, and industrial construction projects.
- Develop, modify, implement, and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Safe Task Analyses (STAs), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) inventories, equipment inspection records, hot work permits, emergency evacuation plans, and other project-specific safety documentation.
- Review and update project-specific Health and Safety Plans to address site conditions, scope of work, hazards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct weekly site safety audits and inspections, document findings, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Facilitate and conduct employee safety training, toolbox talks, and other required safety meetings while maintaining accurate training records.
- Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, including gathering witness statements, taking photographs, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective action plans.
- Identify potential air quality, noise, and other occupational health hazards and coordinate or conduct required monitoring.
- Coordinate required medical surveillance, employee medical monitoring, and site-specific medical clearances.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings with clients, general contractors, project management teams, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor jobsite activities to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, communicate concerns, and promote compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist with incident response and coordinate transportation of injured employees for medical evaluation when necessary.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and federal, state, and local safety requirements.
- Support the Industrial Division with safety documentation, training updates, and other safety-related administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform additional safety-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications preferred.
- Previous field experience in demolition, asbestos abatement, environmental remediation, or industrial construction preferred.

- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, hazard recognition, and incident investigation procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate safety expectations effectively to employees, subcontractors, clients, and project leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare, maintain, and organize accurate safety records and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a changing project environment.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationwide based on project assignments.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight for extended periods as required by project schedules and business needs.
- Ability to provide full-time, on-site safety services for the duration of assigned projects.
