Hatch currently has a Regional Practice Lead role available located in Mississauga, Ontario. This role offers a rare opportunity to build a strategic thought leadership platform around the Hatch brand. You will shape Hatch's thought leadership portfolio, and help scale the impact of this work by developing the coaching, facilitation and storytelling skills of a diverse set of contributors from Hatch's Canada region

Reports to:

Global Director of Thought Leadership

Your Responsibilities

  • Engage with leaders from across Hatch to understand their viewpoints and ideas.
  • Coach domain experts in the facilitation of sessions that ensure they can reframe these viewpoints and ideas in provocative and valuable ways.
  • Actively perform research and track thought leadership outside Hatch to frame these viewpoints and ideas within a broader industry context.
  • Synthesize these diverse internal and external inputs into a portfolio of thought leadership projects.
  • Establish a common storytelling methodology and vocabulary to help Hatch build storytelling muscle that will fuel its thought leadership.
  • Partner with the Brand team to champion the Hatch brand and ensure that our platform for thought leadership positions Hatch in a consistent way.
  • Partner with creatives to formulate visual and editorial concepts and work collaboratively to ideate and develop them.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in technology, design, engineering, or related field; or a communications degree with coursework in technology, design or engineering
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written French communication skills being an asset
  • Experience working with senior leaders and subject matter experts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-confidence and strong influencing skills
  • Solid foundation of facilitation experience
  • Strong appreciation for well-crafted communications - both visual and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and persevere to get the job done
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of engineering or other relevant discipline


Base salary range: $74,000 - $124,000

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position
is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, our total rewards package may include performance-based incentives, comprehensive benefits, and other programs designed to support your well-being and growth.
