Full Job Description
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in federal sales or business development, with at least 5 years supporting the Department of Defense, preferably with a focus on DISA.
  • Proven experience leading and developing sales teams, including Client Managers and Client Executives, with a track record of high performance and team success.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multimillion-dollar pursuits and delivering against aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the DISA organizational structure, acquisition models, and operational priorities.
  • Exceptional relationship management, communication, and executive presence.
  • Familiarity with key government contract vehicles (e.g., ITES, SEWP, GSA, AFNET IDIQs, JWCC).
  • Experience working with large OEMs, systems integrators, and emerging technology partners.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and influence at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or military experience preferred.
  • Solid relationships with OEMs
  • Active DoD Security Clearance or ability to obtain one strongly desired.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $160,000.00 to $185,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology (WWT), a global technology solutions provider, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our DISA business. This role is responsible for driving strategic growth, developing key customer relationships, and delivering innovative technology solutions that align with DISA missions and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, DISA organizational structure, and the ability to lead high-performing sales teams with a mission-first mindset.

This individual will lead a team of Client Managers and Client Executives, providing coaching, direction, and support to ensure team success across all stages of customer engagement, from opportunity identification to successful delivery and long-term account growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for WWT's DISA business, aligned with the mission, digital modernization priorities, and enterprise IT goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of Client Managers and Client Executives, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and execution across multiple DISA accounts and mission areas.
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior military, civilian, and contractor leadership across DISA Major Program and Acquisition Organizations.
  • Drive pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, and revenue growth across a portfolio of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and hands-on leadership to support complex pursuit strategies, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Services, Contracts, and Partners to craft compelling solutions tailored to mission outcomes.
  • Navigate complex DoD procurement processes including IDIQs, OTAs, BPAs, and SBIR/STTR pathways.
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness on federal policy changes, funding cycles, and technology trends impacting DISA IT modernization efforts.
  • Represent WWT at industry events, conferences, and on customer panels to advocate for innovative, mission-aligned solutions.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture based on trust, accountability, and customer-first execution.
