Job Summary: The Regional Human Resources Manager is a strategic and operational hands-on partner to business leaders across multiple locations. This position is a critical link between corporate HR initiatives and local execution and is responsible for delivering consistent HR programs, ensuring compliance and supporting workforce effectiveness while driving a positive employee experience.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Partner with site leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and operational needs.
- Provide advanced employee relations support, including conducting investigations and resolving complex workplace issues while mitigating risk.
- Ensure, monitor and audit HR practices for compliance with federal, state and local employment laws; recommend best practices.
- Lead and support talent management processes, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Lead and support change initiatives that enhance employee engagement, strengthen culture, and improve retention.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to help make informed decisions on improving organizational performance.
- Drive performance management programs that align individual contributions to business goals.
- Oversee performance review cycles, compensation, benefits, and leave administration ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Supervise and develop HR team members, providing coaching, mentorship, and leadership to build a high-performing HR team. Establish key performance indicators for HR team effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate organizational climate and implement strategies to address engagement and performance gaps.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, OSHA logs, and related compliance activities while ensuring cost containment and mitigating risk.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources, including at least 5 years in an HR leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operations
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking and oversight with hands-on execution.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, talent management and organization development.
- Experience partnering effectively with corporate HR functions and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with a HRIS and highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to lead, develop and mentor HR professionals across multiple locations.
Desirable Qualifications:- Experience in the medical device or regulated manufacturing industry
- Professional HR certification
ADA Requirements:- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
- Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing hazards
- Travel by air or car occasionally
