Full Job Description
Overview
We're not building recruiting the way it's always been done. AMCA's talent organization is built around two ideas: know the exceptional people before you need them, and give every one of them unreasonable hospitality, a bespoke experience built around who they actually are.
We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to solve one of the hardest problems in scaling a company: how do you make every candidate feel like they're the only one, when you're running dozens of searches at once? You'll design and run the experience that answers that question, from the first scheduling email through the final onsite, so that a candidate walks away feeling like Amca treated them like a person, not a req, no matter how much volume we're moving through.
This position is onsite in our El Segundo Office!
What You'll Do
Own onsite and interview scheduling end to end, across multiple concurrent searches, without letting anything slip or feel rushed to the candidate on the other end.
Design what a great candidate experience looks like at each stage, from first outreach through offer, and keep raising the bar on it as we learn what actually lands.
Plan and run onsite experiences that feel bespoke, not templated: the details that make someone feel like they were the only person we were thinking about that day.
Build a genuinely personal read on each candidate (what they'd care about, what would make them feel welcome, what might make them nervous) and tailor their experience accordingly.
Coordinate tightly with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers so everyone shows up prepared and the candidate never has to explain themselves twice.
Stay extremely organized under real volume: track every candidate, every stage, and every commitment we've made to them without anything falling through.
Notice where the experience is generic or clunky and fix it, rather than waiting to be told something didn't work.
What We're Looking For
You're the most organized person in every room, and you don't lose track of details even when you're juggling a lot at once.
You think about experience design, not just logistics: you can look at a process and see where it feels impersonal or clunky, and you have ideas for making it better.
You genuinely enjoy planning something well, whether that's a single onsite or a larger candidate event, down to the details most people wouldn't think to consider.
You read people well and adjust how you show up for each candidate rather than treating every interaction the same way.
You move fast without letting quality slip, especially when a search is time-sensitive.
You take ownership of a bad experience when you spot one instead of shrugging it off as someone else's problem.
