The mission of the Real Estate Development Procurement Department is to procure the required goods and services through value-based procurement (high quality, best price) on scale and on time.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Real Estate Development Procurement team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for procuring the goods and services required to develop and operate our world-class spaces.

As a member of the Real Estate Development Procurement team, you will contribute to the effective and efficient execution of procurement across the project lifecycle. Depending on the role, you may support or lead purchasing and managing the end-to-end procurement of goods and services or develop and execute procurement strategies across defined categories.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to understand business requirements, assess procurement needs, source best-fit partners, negotiate value-based agreements, execute purchases, manage orders, and continuously improve the performance of our vendor portfolio. Through this work, you will help ensure Real Estate Development receives the right goods and services, from the right partners, at the right quality, price, quantity, and on time.

THE ROLE

As a member of the Real Estate Development Procurement Team, you will:

• Partner with the business to understand and assess procurement requirements, ensuring the right goods and services are procured in alignment with business and project needs.
• Develop, support, or execute procurement strategies for assigned projects or categories, considering requirements, timelines, volumes, geography, market conditions, risks, and value opportunities.
• Research the market and assess vendor capabilities, pricing, quality, availability, and fit to identify and source world-class partners.
• Lead or support vendor evaluations and selection processes to build a high-performing and competitive vendor portfolio.
• Develop and execute negotiation strategies that leverage business requirements, benchmarks, purchasing volumes, and Aritzia's industry position to deliver the best value without compromising quality.
• Ensure goods and services are purchased through purchase orders in alignment with corporate standards, required approvals, agreed commercial terms, and project timelines.
• Manage orders from purchase through delivery, ensuring goods and services meet contractual requirements for scope, quality, cost, quantity, timing, and delivery method.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, discrepancies, and performance issues to protect project timelines, budgets, quality, and business outcomes.
• At people-leader level, provide leadership and direction while enabling strong cross-functional collaboration and the development of high-performing teams

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Real Estate Development Procurement member has:

• Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in procurement, purchasing, category management, supply chain, real estate development, or a related field.
• A degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
