Hybrid at Key Raytheon Sites (Andover, MA; McKinney, TX; Tucson, AZ; Huntsville, AL)
Occasional Travel (multi-site support)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance (Secret preferred)

Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Network Services Site Lead (RNSL) to support our modernized, service-oriented network delivery model across multiple Raytheon locations. The RNSL serves as the primary operational liaison between Raytheon business units, Site Services Digital Technology teams (SSDT), Enterprise Services (ES), and the Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for network services, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, telephony/voice, and cellular/DAS.

This role complements the Raytheon Network Service Delivery Lead (SDL) by owning the operational support and site-level coordination necessary to deliver reliable, consistent network services. The RNSL manages intake, qualifies requirements, engages cross-functional stakeholders for technical and business evaluation, coordinates delivery teams, ensures site readiness, and maintains clear communication across stakeholders while providing input to the Raytheon SDL regarding enterprise/technology alignment, governance, strategic planning, and service outcomes.

This is a senior individual contributor position requiring strong domain knowledge, exceptional coordination skills, and the ability to navigate a complex enterprise technology environment. While the role does not perform hands-on technical work, the RNSL must possess deep understanding of network service operations, technical impacts, and business-critical dependencies.

What You Will Do

Site-Level Operational Leadership
  • Serve as the key point of contact for network service requests at supported Raytheon sites, qualifying demand, performing upfront requirement gathering.
  • Coordinate site-level activities for multiple sites in a cross-functional environment across SSDT, ES, MSP, vendors, and facilities teams to ensure efficient execution of LAN/WAN/WLAN/voice/DAS projects and business requests.
  • Act as a strategic partner and escalation point for network transformation initiatives while working to align with the technical roadmap delivery plan.
  • Oversee and coordinate site readiness tasks such as MDF/IDF environment validation, site access coordination, vendor engagement, power considerations, and circuit delivery alignment along with other associated inputs and dependencies.
  • Engage in guiding incident response and resolution for issues brought forward and acting as a communication bridge to engage the appropriate parties.

Demand Intake & Requirements Analysis
  • Manage intake for network-related engagements, ensuring requests are properly categorized, documented, and prepared for prioritization within the BU's scoring model.
  • Lead operational requirements gathering for deployments, expansions, and local initiatives while partnering with the SDL for high-visibility or strategic initiatives.

Execution Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the day-to-day coordination hub between the business unit (BU) and delivery teams (ES/MSP/SSDT) to ensure timely and quality outcomes.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with Facilities, Real Estate, program teams, and Site Leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise network standards and project dependencies.
  • Engage with counterparts in Finance and Procurement in vendor engagement, procurement requests, and approved transactions related to requested services and/or products.

Operational Oversight & Issue Management
  • Drive local-level issue follow-up, ensuring MSP/ES resolve incidents aligned with SLAs and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Support the SDL with operational insights, site-level risk identification, vendor performance feedback, and service health data.

Support for Lifecycle & Resiliency Programs
  • Contribute operational coordination for network refresh activities (WAN, LAN, WLAN, voice, inside/outside plant fiber), UPS lifecycle programs, DAS modernization, and special unclassified program networks.

Governance & Reporting
  • Provide structured updates to the SDL, including site-level progress, operational risks, recurring pain points, and local environmental factors.
  • Support monthly briefings, intake reviews, KPI production, and performance reporting.

Why This Role Matters

Raytheon's network ecosystem is foundational to manufacturing, engineering, factory operations, and mission-critical business functions. The RNSL plays a pivotal role in:
  • Reducing safety and reliability risk while improving resiliency through coordinated lifecycle management efforts.
  • Improving network reliability and user experience by ensuring consistent site-level execution and timely alignment with ES/MSP.
  • Restoring strategic capacity for the business by managing operational workloads and coordinating repeatable tasks through SSDT/ES/MSP.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, network service delivery, IT service management, or comparable experience.

  • Experience with enterprise networking services (LAN, WAN, WLAN, voice, cellular/DAS) and related operational impacts.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers (MSP) or internal shared-services organizations (ES).
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams in a large, matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with facilities coordination, MDF/IDF environments, structured cabling concepts, and enterprise deployment practices.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk identification, and coordination skills.
  • Relevant certifications (ITIL Foundation, CCNA/CCNP, SAFe, or similar).
  • Experience with ITIL-based service delivery models, governance frameworks, and intake/prioritization processes
