OverviewWorks under the supervision of the Director of Radiology. The
Radiology Manager of MRI Services provides strategic and operational leadership for MRI services across
four locations: Main Campus, Orthopedic Hospital, Scotts Hill Medical Center, and Medical Mall.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity, overseeing approximately 45 team members and supporting patient service revenues approaching $100 million annually. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a collaborative approach to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality imaging services and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily operational oversight and leadership for MRI services across four locations.
- Lead, develop, and engage a team of approximately 45 imaging professionals.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality MRI services that support exceptional patient care.
- Manage departmental budgets, financial performance, staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment needs.
- Partner with radiologists, physicians, hospital leadership, and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless imaging operations.
- Oversee capital planning and equipment acquisitions, aligning investments with clinical needs, operational priorities, and system-wide imaging strategy.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, service quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Support ongoing professional development, education, competency, and training for MRI team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, engagement, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and collaboration throughout the department.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, safety, quality, and organizational standards.
- Champion a safe patient environment driven by the principle of "First Do No Harm."
QualificationsEducation- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field - Required
- Completion of an accredited two-year technologist program.
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Experience- 5 years of technologist experience - Required
- 1 year of radiology leadership experience - Preferred
Licensure & Certification- ARRT certification - Required
- MRSO certification - Preferred
