Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:P&G has an opportunity for a PhD intern to work in the Grooming Research & Development business to develop innovative new solutions at the intersection of Data Science, Generative AI and Cognitive Science. The work will focus on understanding how consumers perceive changes in their skin and hair before and after shaving. The intern will explore key aspects of the shaving experience, such as perceived skin smoothness, evenness, and tone, by combining image-based technical measurements with visual perception and consumer data. Using approaches such as computer vision, multimodal AI, and Generative AI, the goal is to identify the skin and hair characteristics that drive what consumers see and experience, and better connect technical product performance with consumer perception.
