JOB DESCRIPTION

You will join a team that turns data into clear, actionable insights that improve customer and business outcomes. You will work closely with product and analytics partners, using modern analytics and reporting to help shape strategy, strengthen controls, and scale decision-making.

As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate at JPMorganChase within Consumer Deposit Product Analytics in Consumer & Community Banking, you will partner with deposit product leaders to solve business problems with data-driven insights. You will own product performance reporting and ad hoc analysis across deposit products, blending monitoring and metrics reporting to support end-to-end product management. You will be expected to communicate clearly, operate independently, and deliver practical recommendations that influence outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs, translate requirements into analytical deliverables, and communicate actionable insights
  • Design, build, and maintain SQL queries, dashboards, and reporting solutions from requirements through deployment and ongoing support
  • Produce product performance reporting, including key performance indicators and key risk indicators, with clear definitions and documentation
  • Analyze trends, identify growth opportunities and risks, and recommend actions to senior stakeholders
  • Deliver tailored analyses to answer complex, ambiguous questions and support strategic decision-making
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and apply disciplined source control and documentation practices
  • Support production reporting environments by troubleshooting issues, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and driving continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Master’s degree in a related field with three years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in a related field with five years of relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience using Python for analytics and data workflows
  • Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and cloud services (for example, Snowflake and Amazon Web Services)
  • Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and analytics solutions using Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytics and responsible generative artificial intelligence techniques to improve reporting, forecasting, anomaly detection, or business intelligence
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver high-quality results in a deadline-driven environment
