Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC's), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures that residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.
This full-service hospital includes 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Peer Review (RN) (Full Time) Assist in the implementation of Hospital Quality Assurance, Management and Improvement by collecting, reporting, and analyzing data; identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement; coordinating activities, and supporting the development and implementation of medical staff and hospital service performance improvement initiatives. Assist in achieving compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.
Job Duties/Responsibilities: - Collect, analyze, and report quality and performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of potential risk.
- Coordinate and support nursing and medical staff peer review activities, including case review, documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of hospital-wide quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to address identified quality concerns and improve patient outcomes.
- Support compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational quality standards through ongoing monitoring and readiness activities.
- Maintain accurate quality and peer review records and prepare reports, summaries, and performance metrics for appropriate committees and leadership.

Qualifications Requirements:- Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) required.
- DC RN License required.
- Minimum two years' experience in hospital surgery department, surgery clinic, clinical research or medical records. Clinical chart review and abstraction experience required.
- Successful completion of applicable required certification and training programs to include, but not limited to, ACS BQIP SCR training/certification within 6 months of hire.
- 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with databases, data entry and/or database management preferred
