Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Oversee a team of quality engineers and inspectors
  • Coordinate workflow through the Quality Control (QC) department
  • Lead company-wide quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and certification bodies on QMS-related issues
  • Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and manage PPAPs/FAIs in manufacturing
  • Develop and maintain Quality Control work instructions
  • Drive investigations and corrective actions for quality-related issues.

Full Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Manager who will be a critical part of our management team and have a tangible effect on the success of the business. The Quality Manager is responsible for all quality assurance functions throughout the manufacturing process and post-manufacturing support. The Quality Manager serves as a leader in the business, working closely with all internal departments and external customers. Key responsibilities: • Manage, improve, and maintain the Quality Management System for continued effectiveness. • Manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors. • Manage the flow of work through the QC department, including inspection. • Organize, promote, and manage companywide quality improvement efforts. • Work directly with customers, vendors, certification bodies, etc. on issues related to the QMS. • Within manufacturing facility, oversee APQP activity. Prepare and submit PPAPs/FAIs. • Manage the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Control work instructions. • Manage RMA and internal MRB processes. • Lead investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues/concerns.
