Full Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • You will represent the QA function as the principal customer liaison for nVent Warwick facilitating customer engagement and supplier quality management.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Lead all aspects of quality control activities including inspection, testing, data analysis, and non-conformance management.
  • Manage audit programs in collaboration with internal and external customers and agencies.
  • Develop and run Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as a quality project leader and structured problem-solving authority, driving initiatives across the Quality function and multi-functional teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for supplier qualifications, new product launches, and engineering changes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, fostering engagement, capability growth, and performance excellence.


YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Professional certifications in quality management such as CQE, CQM, or CQA preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in manufacturing quality systems preferred.
  • 3+ years leading teams/leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, MDI, etc.
  • ISO Management system experience (9001, 14001, 45001, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge in root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Ability to impact the workplace dynamics and cultivate continuous progress across the facility.
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality procedures and control plans.


Our Warwick, RI facility is an ITAR-controlled site. All candidates must be a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.
