Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Quality Management Program for Quebec.
  • Support project planning by identifying quality requirements and risks.

  • Assist project teams from design to turnover phases.
  • Conduct audits and quality assessments for execution effectiveness.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and corrective action plans.
  • Mentor Quality staff across the region.

Full Job Description
En tant que responsable qualité, vous devrez :
  • Diriger la mise en œuvre et l'amélioration continue du programme de gestion de la qualité au Québec.
  • Soutenir les activités de soumission, de démarrage et de planification des projets en identifiant les exigences de qualité, les risques, les obligations et les enjeux liés à leur exécution.
  • Guider et superviser l'élaboration ainsi que la mise en œuvre des plans de gestion de la qualité des projets.
  • Accompagner les équipes de projet tout au long des phases de conception, d'approvisionnement, de construction, de mise en service et de transfert.
  • Réaliser des audits de projet, des examens opérationnels et des évaluations de la qualité pour mesurer l'efficacité de l'exécution.
  • Assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance en matière de qualité, des constatations d'audit, des non-conformités, des déficiences et des plans d'action corrective, et veiller à la mise en œuvre des mesures requises.
  • Assurer l'encadrement et le perfectionnement des gestionnaires, responsables et coordonnateurs(-trices) de la qualité au sein de la région.
  • Offrir et soutenir des initiatives de formation en qualité auprès des équipes de projet.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes Opérations, Sécurité, VDC, Sciences de la construction, METI, Qualité de l'entreprise et d'autres services afin d'améliorer la performance organisationnelle.
  • Rendre compte à la direction régionale de la performance en matière de qualité, de l'efficacité du programme, de l'avancement de sa mise en œuvre et des risques émergents.


Ce que vous apporterez :
  • Diplôme dans un domaine lié à la construction ou expérience équivalente.
  • Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience progressive en gestion de la qualité dans le secteur de la construction et de la réalisation de projets.
  • Expérience dans la réalisation de projets de construction complexes exécutés en plusieurs phases.
  • Solide connaissance des processus de construction, des programmes d'inspection et d'essai, de la mise en service, du transfert et de la gestion des risques.
  • Connaissance pratique des principes ISO 9001 et des systèmes de gestion de la qualité.
  • Expérience en gestion, en mentorat et en perfectionnement d'équipe.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, en collaboration et en leadership.
  • Grandes capacités d'organisation et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Expérience avec des plateformes de gestion de la construction et des outils numériques de réalisation de projets.


Exigences obligatoires

Nous recherchons une personne :
  • Bilingue (français et anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit)

La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise afin d'accomplir certaines tâches liées au poste, notamment les communications avec des intervenants à l'extérieur du Québec et la consultation de documents disponibles uniquement en anglais.
  • Admissible à l'obtention d'une autorisation de sécurité de niveau " Secret " auprès du gouvernement du Canada.
  • Capable de travailler depuis le bureau de Montréal et d'effectuer des déplacements réguliers sur les sites de projet partout au Québec.
  • À l'aise pour travailler à la fois dans un environnement de bureau et sur des chantiers de construction en activité.


As Quality Manager, you will:
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Program across the Quebec region.
  • Support pursuits, project start-up activities, and early-stage project planning by identifying quality requirements, risks, obligations, and execution considerations.
  • Guide and review the development and implementation of Project Quality Management Plans.
  • Support project teams throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Conduct project audits, operational reviews, and quality assessments to evaluate execution effectiveness.
  • Monitor and drive action on quality performance indicators, audit findings, non-conformances, deficiencies, and corrective action plans.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Quality staff Managers across the region.
  • Deliver and support quality training initiatives for project teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Security, VDC, Construction Sciences, MEiT, Corporate Quality, and other business functions to improve project delivery outcomes.
  • Report on quality performance, program effectiveness, implementation status, and emerging risks to regional leadership.


What You'll Bring
  • Construction related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction quality management and project delivery.
  • Experience supporting complex construction projects through multiple phases of delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, inspection and testing programs, commissioning, turnover, and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and quality management systems.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience using common construction management platforms and digital project delivery tools.


Mandatory Requirements

The successful candidate must:
  • Be bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.
  • Be able to work from EllisDon's Montreal office and travel regularly to project sites throughout Quebec region.
  • Be comfortable working in both office and active construction site environments.
