Standard Job DescriptionWhat You Will Be DoingThis role is for a Quality and Mission Success Manager for Missiles and Fire Control Lufkin, Tx. Responsibilities include providing oversight to quality leaders over multiple key areas including Metrology, Automation, Analytics, Planning, and Inspection. This role may also provide oversight for leadership of Quality Engineers that support multiple programs. Responsible for support throughout the program life cycle from proposals through production, inclusive of the flow-down and execution of all Quality Statements of Work to enterprise stakeholders. Includes providing leadership through identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives in these areas that support the Quality Organization's key performance measurements, vision, and strategy. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide leadership and oversight to multiple programs to ensure implementation of quality, contractual, technical, and procedural requirements.
- Support, coach, and mentor to ensure talent and skill development of the Quality and Mission Success team.
- Engage with other functional organizations to drive process improvements and efficiencies as well as for adherence to key quality metrics.
- Support quality management system to ensure compliance to AS9100.
- Manage quality department capital projects and support overall improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications- Ability to obtain interim secret priot to start and obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, Industrial, or Quality-Assurance discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership experience overseeing Quality-Assurance or Operations teams, with direct responsibility for people-management
- Experience developing and executing Quality-Management strategies that produced measurable business-outcome improvements
- Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic, or systems-integration technologies as they relate to product quality and inspection
- Experience in the recruitment and development of talent to strengthen the organization
Desired Skills- Customer focused behavior and problem-solving abilities, developing employees, building constructive partnering relationships with customers, employees, DCMA, and other business units
- Experience in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Basis of Estimates (BOE)
- Experienced in implementing and maintaining AS9100-certified Quality Management Systems
- Extensive knowledge of DOD contract requirement, Quality Assurance Management and Quality Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on executive operations metrics, as well as creation/maintaining digital dashboards for data review
- Demonstrated expertise leading and implementing continuous process improvement
- Experience in Automation, primarily as it caters to inspection optimization
- Experience with Metrology and Calibration processes
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $116100.00 - $215700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
