Quality Engineer – PCBA & Electro‑Mechanical Systems

As a Quality Engineer, you’ll help ensure the reliability of PCBA and electro‑mechanical products used in demanding environments. You’ll work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to strengthen processes, drive defect reduction, and ensure audit‑ready compliance.

What you’ll do
Maintain and improve a QMS aligned to ISO 9001:2015
Develop inspection plans for manufacturing and assembly processes
Analyse yield, scrap, rework, and defect trends to drive improvements
Lead root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA) and manage CAPA/FACAR
Own incoming inspection and guide QC personnel
Partner with PCBA suppliers; drive SCARs and performance gains
Support NPI (PFMEA, validation, FAI)
Advance Lean/Six Sigma efforts and reduce COPQ
Track KPIs and present clear, data‑driven insights
Enable cross‑functional alignment on quality standards
What you need
Required: Strong problem‑solving and RCA leadership
Required: Experience with ISO 9001, CAPA, SPC, supplier quality
Required: 5+ years in manufacturing/PCBA assembly quality
Required: Data‑driven mindset and effective cross‑functional communication
Required: Familiarity with ERP/MES systems
Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Advantage: ASQ CQE or Lean Six Sigma certification
Advantage: IPC standards (A‑610, J‑STD‑001) and ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certification
