Work Hours: Mon - Fri 3 pm-11 pm

Plaskolite is seeking an ambitious, hands-on engineering graduate to join our manufacturing team as an Extrusion Quality & Process Engineer.

This is not a desk job.

You will work directly with production operators, maintenance technicians, and manufacturing leaders to solve real process problems, improve product quality, reduce waste, and drive operational performance on our plastic sheet extrusion lines.

Because our manufacturing operations run around the clock, this position is intentionally aligned with second shift, providing exposure to active production challenges and opportunities to make an immediate impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead troubleshooting of quality and process issues on extrusion lines
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Investigate customer and internal quality concerns
• Support process optimization projects focused on productivity, scrap reduction, and product consistency
• Develop standard operating procedures and process documentation
• Conduct root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods
• Work closely with operators to improve manufacturing performance
• Support trials of new materials, products, and equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a Related Engineering Discipline
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Desire to learn and grow into future leadership roles
