Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards and evaluation methods for products and processes. Ensure the organization complies with applicable company and customer requirements including AS9100 and FAA standards as established in AA TECH's Quality Management System. Provides complex statistical information for quality improvement by determining and applying testing methods and criteria. The Quality Engineer LP2 will provide front line support to operations and suppliers in resolving quality issues within the value streams. Coordinates and guides technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure quality objectives are achieved. Mentors and coaches quality technicians and engineers (PB2, PB1,LP3).

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree & 10 years or Master's degree & 5 years of manufacturing quality experience

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid working knowledge of applied statistics
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities within a teamwork setting


Desired Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
  • CQA/CQE certification
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products and legal and related

regulatory requirements (APQP/PPAP, FAA, AS9100, AS9102, AS13100, etc.)
