Quality Assurance EngineerWe are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Exlar team!
As our Quality Assurance Engineer you will, design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Additionally, you will design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma). May prepares and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
Location: Chanhassen, MNSalary/hourly rate: $85,000 to $110,000Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Minnesota. Your Challenge- Develops, applies and revises quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
- Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed.
- May interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
- Participates in audits.
- Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
- May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
What You Bring- Four-year degree, or a two-year associates degree with previous quality engineering experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and testing practices for mechanical and electrical equipment.
