A Taste of What You'll Do
This is a temporary position until June 2027.
The Quality Analyst develops, applies, and audits quality control and food safety policies and procedures as it relates to winery operations. This role leads and supports corporate quality and food safety initiatives by developing, implementing, and reviewing operational policies, systems, and strategies to ensure alignment with quality standards. Responsibilities include managing quality inventory processes and reporting; facilitating aging inventory reviews, status changes, and cross-functional quality meetings; analyzing data, trends, metrics, customer claims, and returns to identify risks and improvement opportunities; and leading root-cause investigations and corrective actions. The position also supports audit programs, drives continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost-savings projects, maintains accurate inventory and shipping records, trains cross-functional partners on system processes, and promotes a strong Quality Culture across the organization.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of quality assurance/quality control, food safety, project management, data analytics, production, operations, winemaking, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Associate's degree plus 4 years of quality assurance/quality control, food safety, project management, manufacturing, data analytics, production, operations, winemaking, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of quality assurance/quality control, food safety, project management, data analytics, production, operations, winemaking, or engineering experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Bachelors of Science in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering plus 4 years of quality assurance/quality control, project management, data analytics, production, operations,winemaking, or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with food safety or quality systems.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
