About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated
QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in
Playwright to support quality assurance initiatives for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of automation and manual testing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for enterprise applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected behavior.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Validate APIs, interfaces, and data integrity across integrated systems.
- Support release validation and production deployment testing activities.
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, standards, and QA processes.
- Analyze test results and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the QA organization.
Required Skills- Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright (Mandatory).
- Experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, TestRail, or similar.
- SQL knowledge for database validation and testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within global cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills- Experience with Java and Selenium automation framework.
- Experience testing enterprise-scale applications.
- Exposure to CI/CD and modern quality engineering practices.
