QA Automation Engineer with expertise in
Selenium, Playwright, and Apache JMeter to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, performance testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. This role involves designing robust automation frameworks, executing performance tests, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Create and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance tests using Apache JMeter.
- Analyze performance metrics such as response time, throughput, latency, CPU, memory, and error rates.
- Perform API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to resolve issues.
- Review requirements and participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain test documentation, test plans, and automation reports.
- Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.
Required Skills - Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with Apache JMeter for performance and load testing.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest.
- Experience with REST API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Strong understanding of automation framework design (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Hybrid, BDD).
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills - Experience with Cucumber BDD and Gherkin.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of security testing concepts and OWASP guidelines.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.

- Knowledge of Selenium Grid or cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest).
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG).
- Exposure to Shift-Left Testing and TestOps practices.
