Role Overview:

We're seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead and scale test automation for our clinical software platform, which spans Android, web, and backend systems. You'll develop robust automated test suites that ensure our medical devices, mobile apps, and data systems are safe, stable, and ready for deployment in clinical environments. Your work will directly impact patient safety and clinician trust - and will help us scale faster with confidence.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves catching edge cases before they happen, and takes pride in building systems that elevate engineering quality across the team.

Tech Stack:

  • Platforms: Android (React Native), Web (React), Backend (Python)
  • Tools: Appium, Selenium, Detox, Jest, Postman, Pytest, Playwright
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Development: Build and maintain end-to-end test suites for mobile and web apps using tools like Appium, Selenium, or Detox
  • Regression & Smoke Testing: Implement automated regression tests that run pre-release and post-deploy
  • CI/CD Integration: Ensure tests are seamlessly integrated into GitHub Actions or Bitrise pipelines
  • Test Strategy: Define test coverage goals, write test plans, and ensure traceability to requirements
  • Device Testing: Validate hardware/software integration in real-world tablet + stimulator test environments
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and product managers to clarify expected behavior and catch issues early
