Full Job Description
About The Role:
We're looking for a QA Architect to own test automation and quality for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM), our platform for managing distributed edge deployments at scale. In this role, you'll build out a modern Playwright automation framework for LEM, define what "release-ready" means through clear quality gates, and act as the bridge between our engineering leadership and our growing international QA team. You'll set the standards and priorities that guide their day-to-day testing work. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who wants to shape how quality is built into a fast-moving product.
What You Will Do:
• Design and build a Playwright automation framework for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM)
• Serve as the QA coordination point between leadership and the India-based testing team for LEM - setting test scope, priority, and quality standards
• Build and maintain LEM test cases in Xray, tracking automation coverage per release
• Use and champion AI-assisted test generation tooling to produce Playwright scripts and test cases from tickets, design files, and specs
• Coordinate LEM-LE integration testing with related product teams as needed
What You Will Bring:
Must Have:
• Hands-on experience designing and building automated test frameworks using Playwright or a similar modern automation framework (UI and API/E2E)
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Strong JavaScript or Java skills
• Experience with BDD methodologies and practices
• Experience coordinating with distributed QA teams
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Xray/Jira) and CI/CD-integrated automation
• Experience defining test strategy, quality standards, automation coverage, or release-readiness criteria
Nice To Have:
• Experience with AI-assisted test generation or AI-powered QA tooling
• Cypress experience; industrial edge/IoT product testing background
• Hands-on Docker experience
