About The Role: We're looking for a QA Architect to own test automation and quality for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM), our platform for managing distributed edge deployments at scale. In this role, you'll build out a modern Playwright automation framework for LEM, define what "release-ready" means through clear quality gates, and act as the bridge between our engineering leadership and our growing international QA team. You'll set the standards and priorities that guide their day-to-day testing work. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who wants to shape how quality is built into a fast-moving product. What You Will Do: • Design and build a Playwright automation framework for Litmus Edge Manager (LEM) • Serve as the QA coordination point between leadership and the India-based testing team for LEM - setting test scope, priority, and quality standards • Build and maintain LEM test cases in Xray, tracking automation coverage per release • Use and champion AI-assisted test generation tooling to produce Playwright scripts and test cases from tickets, design files, and specs • Coordinate LEM-LE integration testing with related product teams as needed What You Will Bring: Must Have: • Hands-on experience designing and building automated test frameworks using Playwright or a similar modern automation framework (UI and API/E2E) • Comfortable working in a Linux environment • Strong JavaScript or Java skills • Experience with BDD methodologies and practices • Experience coordinating with distributed QA teams • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Xray/Jira) and CI/CD-integrated automation • Experience defining test strategy, quality standards, automation coverage, or release-readiness criteria Nice To Have: • Experience with AI-assisted test generation or AI-powered QA tooling • Cypress experience; industrial edge/IoT product testing background • Hands-on Docker experience
